The short answer: yes, in the sense that a move you make together depends on both of your lives — and no, in the sense that your chart cannot tell anyone what is in theirs. A reading of one person’s chart that makes claims about a second person is reading someone who was never asked.

What your own chart can legitimately say

Quite a lot, and all of it about you:

  • Whether the displacement houses are prominent in your chart, and which periods activate them.
  • How partnership and relocation interact for you — whether the seventh house and the fourth or twelfth are linked, which the tradition reads as a life where partnership and movement are entangled.
  • Whether your supported windows for a move line up with the years you are planning around.
  • What the move reads as for you: study, work, or a change of base.

Notice what all four have in common: they are statements about the person who ordered the reading. That is the boundary, and it is not an arbitrary one.

Why one chart cannot answer for two

A birth chart is built from one moment and one place. Your partner’s dispositions, their timing, and their willingness to move are all intheir chart, which your birth details contain no information about. A reading that says “your partner’s chart supports the move” from your data alone has produced that sentence from nothing.

The tradition does read the seventh house for the spouse — but it reads it as your experience of partnership, not as a biography of a specific person. Those are very different claims, and the second one is where readings start telling people things about their partner that they then act on.

The consent line, stated plainly: a two-person reading needs two sets of birth details and two people who both agreed. We will not write about somebody who did not sit down for it — which means we cannot answer this question about your partner, and will say so rather than improvise.

What to do instead, if you both want an answer

Have both charts read, with both of you knowing. Then the legitimate question becomes: do the two sets of supported windows overlap, and where? That is answerable, useful for planning, and does not require either of you to be interpreted in your absence.

If only one of you is interested in astrology — which is common — the honest version is to read your own chart for your own windows, and treat the relationship as what it is: a decision made by two people, in which your timing is one input among several.

The practical part nobody needs a chart for

Migration as a couple is decided mostly by things you can look up: which of you holds the qualification the visa route wants, whether dependants are permitted on that route, the processing times, and the money. A chart can tell you which stretch of the next three years is better supported for your move. It cannot tell you which visa category you qualify for, and the second question decides more than the first.
