What if I don't know my exact birth time?
Tell us when you order. An unknown time makes the ascendant a guess, and every house-based finding downstream of it unreliable. We would rather say that plainly than sell you a confident wrong answer — so we will tell you what the file can and cannot include before you pay. Could I not get my chart free online and paste that in myself?
You can. Two things happen when you do. Free calculators disagree — the ayanamsa alone differs between tools by enough to move a planet into the next house, and most do not say which one they used. And a positions list is not the material an AI needs: no dignities, no combustion orbs, no divisional charts, no Ashtakavarga, no period dates. Asked about what is missing, a model does not stop — it produces something plausible. The file exists to remove both problems. If you want to try the free route properly first, we wrote the honest guide to it — including where it stops working.
Why not just ask ChatGPT directly?
You can, and it will answer. It will also invent placements, because it has no computed chart to work from. This file gives it one, and opens with instructions telling it to answer only from what is written and to say plainly when the file does not contain something.

Apps generalise to twelve buckets. A real reading depends on the exact minute and place you were born — the ascendant moves a degree every four minutes, and it decides which house every planet falls into.

Free calculators do not all cast the same chart. The ayanamsa alone — the offset between the tropical and sidereal zodiacs — differs between tools by enough to move a planet into the next house, and almost none of them tell you which one they used. Ours is named in every file, and the positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris rather than from a table someone typed up.
Then there is the part that is not a chart at all: dignities, combustion orbs to the degree, the divisional charts, Ashtakavarga sign by sign, and the period sequence with real dates. That is the material an AI needs to reason instead of improvise, and it is not on the free calculator page.
