ADVOCACY EDITION. The foundational text of the Jyotish Veda tradition. The author is a lawyer; the publisher is a memorial committee with a stake in maximal antiquity. A headline date of 2976 BC rests on an assumption the author explicitly declines to defend. Use for CONTENT, never for chronology.
