What you can check in a file

- Which position, house, dignity or period each finding rests on
- That the same birth data produces the same document, every time

What a session asks you to trust

Where the money actually goes

A yearly report has the opposite problem: it is written before you have the question, so it answers what the author decided to cover.
A file is priced by the work of computing and writing it once. Follow-ups cost nothing, because the follow-up happens between you and whichever AI you already use, with the file as the ground truth it has to answer from.
Two charts that disagree, and nobody mentions it
Two practitioners can compute the same birth into meaningfully different charts — different ayanamsa, different house system, mean nodes or true. Neither is lying; the settings are simply a choice, and the choice is usually invisible to the person paying. That is not a small detail: it moves planets between houses, and houses are what most judgements rest on.
