Your chart file, your questions, your own library

A simple workflow for reading a computed file, checking AI answers and keeping a private study notebook.

The useful part of a file is that you can return to it. Read it directly, annotate it, or bring a passage to an AI assistant. You do not need to make a large personal knowledge system before you can ask your first question.

Begin with one passage

  1. Read the input details and limitations first.
  2. Choose one area you want explained.
  3. Ask the assistant to quote the relevant section and explain its terms.
  4. Check that the quoted material actually exists in your file.

Try this prompt: “Using only this file, explain the career section in plain language. Cite the section for each claim. Separate computed facts, traditional interpretations and your own suggestions. If the answer is absent, say so.”

A file gives context, not infallibility

An assistant can invent a citation, skip a caveat or treat a traditional interpretation as a fact. Supplying a document is a way to make answers easier to check; it is not a guarantee of correctness. Ask it to identify missing information and verify important answers yourself. Medical, legal and financial decisions need appropriate evidence and qualified help.

Keep a simple local notebook

Obsidian stores notes as Markdown files in a local vault. You can keep your chart file with separate notes for questions, source passages and your own observations. Ordinary folders and a text editor can also work.

Keep the original file unchanged. In a separate note, record the date, the question, the source passage and what you learned. Label personal observations as observations; do not quietly rewrite them into the original reading.

You can build this yourself

If you enjoy research, collect calculations with their settings, read sources and organise your own notes. Astrodai’s value is the prepared, structured chart file—not exclusive access to an AI or a requirement to buy a subscription. Paid AI tools are not automatically more accurate, and any service’s upload and privacy settings deserve a check before you share personal data.

See the sample before choosing a file. For the calculation side, start with why free charts can disagree.
