Astrodai for AI assistants

Use Vedic astrology in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok without made-up placements

Connect Astrodai and your assistant calculates your chart instead of guessing it. Then ask it anything about your chapters.

Why assistants get placements wrong

A chat assistant writes by predicting likely text. It does not run an ephemeris, so when you give it a birth date it usually estimates where the planets were instead of calculating it.

Slow planets often come out right. The Moon changes sign about every two and a half days, and the rising sign changes every couple of hours or so, depending on the sign and the latitude. Those are the ones an estimate most often misses. Vedic charts also need an ayanamsa correction, which an estimate can apply inconsistently.

A connector fixes the input. The assistant calls Astrodai's calculator for the positions and reads from the result.

Connector address: https://astrodai.in/mcp

Claude

  1. Open Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Astrodai and paste the connector address.
  3. In a chat, ask for your chart with your birth date, time and place.

ChatGPT

  1. Astrodai is being submitted to the ChatGPT app directory. Once it is listed, add it from there.
  2. Until then, turn on developer mode in ChatGPT and add a connector with the connector address.
  3. In a chat, ask for your chart with your birth date, time and place.

Grok

  1. Go to grok.com/connectors > New Connector > Custom.
  2. Paste the connector address and save.
  3. In a chat, ask for your chart with your birth date, time and place.

Gemini

  1. Coming. We will add Gemini steps here once we have tested them in the Gemini app.

What the free tools do

Astrodai calculates sidereal (Vedic) birth charts: True Chitrapaksha ayanamsa, whole-sign houses, Vimshottari life chapters (mahadasha and antardasha).

  • find_birthplace: finds the birthplace, so the UTC offset is worked out from the place and date
  • chart_overview: placements, divisional charts, strengths and life chapters
  • life_area: evidence for one area of life
  • current_chapter: the running life chapter and the areas it touches
  • birth_time_check: how many minutes of birth time would change the rising sign
  • panchang: weekday, tithi, paksha, nakshatra, yoga and karana for a date and place

life_area and current_chapter give up to 3 answers per chart every 6 hours; other tools have per-connection rate limits only.

What they do not include

  • basic reading from the birth details given
  • birth time not checked; a few minutes can change the rising sign
  • covers life chapters; finer timing inside a chapter is not calculated here
  • one area at a time

Results are calculations from the details given. Health is not interpreted.

Privacy

Birth details are used only to calculate this answer; a one-way code is kept for 6 hours to apply fair-use limits.

When you want more than the free answers

Your Astrodai file is the whole calculation in one document: every area together, the finer periods inside each chapter, no limits, and it works in any AI without the connector.

Questions

Astrodai in your AI

Why does my AI give me the wrong rising sign?

A chat assistant usually estimates planet positions instead of calculating them. The rising sign moves quickly and depends on the exact place and time, so an estimate often misses it. With the Astrodai connector the assistant asks a calculator for the positions instead.

Are the Astrodai tools free?

Yes. Life-area and chapter answers are limited to 3 per chart every 6 hours; the other tools have per-connection rate limits only.

Which calculation does Astrodai use?

Sidereal (Vedic) charts with the True Chitrapaksha ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and Vimshottari life chapters.

What happens to my birth details?

Birth details are used only to calculate this answer; a one-way code is kept for 6 hours to apply fair-use limits.

Does it work in Gemini?

Not yet. We will add Gemini steps to this page once we have tested them in the Gemini app.

Do I need the connector if I have an Astrodai file?

No. The file holds the complete calculation and works in any AI on its own.
